ShiftHound expands the power of its suite of workforce management solutions with the release of Credentialer™ v1.1. As a stand-alone product or fully integrated with ShiftHound Scheduling and Open Shift Management, Credentialer™ gives Managers the ability to view Staff credentials, be notified when credentials expire, are about to expire or are missing, and delivers this critical information to those that must ensure their department is in compliance in a quick and efficient way.

With this new release of Credentialer™, the stress of remembering to check for out-of-date or missing credentials is eliminated with a push report that can be automatically sent to a predefined individual or group. A set of configurable rules is used to define credential requirements for a specific department or job type, then parameters are set to identify what is included in the Missing Credentials Report. Credentialer™ v1.1 makes finding staff members with specific credentials, or missing credentials even easier with new search capabilities and improved compliance screens and reports.

Credentialing Information and Staffing Decisions

With ShiftHound’s Scheduling & OSM module and Credentialer™ working seamlessly together, credentialing compliance data becomes usable information in daily staffing. ShiftHound administrators can define credential rules and requirements for each department and job type throughout a facility or organization. Staff members who’s credentials do not meet the defined credential requirements can be restricted from requesting shifts within a particular unit or for a particular shift opening.

The Credentialer™ module also provides the Staff member visibility into what credentials are needed to work in a particular unit and the ability to manage their own credential information to be approved by a Manager, including uploading documents, saving the Manager time and dollars.
